I've checked the TCP port and binding 127.0.0.1:3306 is listening (Debian default setting) but is not offering a handshake, e.g. with the command "mutt -f imaps://{me}@{mysite-fqdn}@webmail.{mysite-fqdn}". The responses fly past too quickly to get all three, but I've managed to see "Connecting to webmail.{mysite-fqdn}..." which is soon replaced by a line with "The TLS connection was non-properly terminated" within, then a termination message which returns me to the shell console. How do I check if there is anything, e.g. firewall setting (I'm using Debian's default settings without modification), preventing the connection or whether it is the port setting itself. In either case, how do I fix it, or is that beyond the scope of a customer? Thanks, Mike | Answer |
